Bituminous cork felts │ -strips K2

Bitumen cork felt is made of long-fiber plant fibers such as jute and coir. In the fiber structure is crushed cork embedded. The impregnation with bitumen creates an elastic, flexible and highly resilient cushioning material.
Bitumen cork felts serve as footfall sound insulaton of flaggings and floating screed on solid floors in structural engineering by a low installation height. Tiles in a mortar bed and sheets can be directly laid on it. An additional compensation layer, as it is required in soft resilient insulating layers is therfore eliminated. Thus, the floor structure has a low construction height.
